Evolution Wine

We are not wine experts, but when we find new wines that we fall in love with, we like to tell people about them. Our favorite new blend wine is Evolution by Sokol Blosser.

Evolution is a fine complex white wine that is a great wine for parties. It has a really strong character that makes one want to drink it by itself or serve it with some fine bold cheeses. We do not recommend pairing it with chicken or fish as it will overwhelm those dishes.

The wine is made by Sokol Blosser of Dundee, Oregon. It is a blend of 9 varietal grapes that are beautifully blended to achieve a marvelous bouquet and intriguing complexity. Sokol describes the wine as a “lush, off-dry, somewhat tropical wine with a crisp finish”.

Locally, we buy ours at our favorite wine shop, The Wine Hut of Frenchtown, Milford and Spottswood, New Jersey.
